Tennis

August 5, 2013

Very nice morning on the clay courts on Riverside. Only caveat is that the clay is very dry so can be slippery at times due to low humidity/moisture. The absence of water is allowing the clay to not adhere together as much and hence sometimes becomes “dusty” and moves easily underfoot. Much less crowded today than last week. Perhaps more people out of town after the weekend. Lastly, a crossing guard was stationed on the bike path where the cars cross it to enter the cruise ship terminal. Seemed to be really needed today as there was a lineup of cars and pedestrians so organized guidance definitely helped prevent a free for all and likely accidents.
